Fee Schedule & Fee Waivers:
The fee schedule for viewing the course is $35.00 per individual or household. There are no additional costs in addition to the course fee. The course is available for free or at a reduced rate based upon a student’s ability to pay. Our policy regarding fee waivers is listed below:
1 After Filing will waive any fees if the consumer or debtor student has income less than 150 percent of the poverty guidelines last published by the United States Department of Health and Human Services, applicable to a family of the size involved in the 48 contiguous states. Please note: The income for comparison to the poverty guidelines is the "Total Combined Monthly Income" as reported (or as will be reported) on Line 16 of Schedule I of the bankruptcy petition. Non-cash governmental assistance (such as food stamps or housing subsidies) is not included in calculating debtor income. The income of a spouse is included in calculating income whether or not a joint petition is filed, unless the spouses are separated and a joint petition is not fled. The income of any other family member listed on Schedule I as a dependent also is included. Please consult with your attorney to see if you qualify. If your attorney cannot help you, call our Customer Service at (866) 39-CLASS to see if you qualify for a waiver. 1 After Filing teachers, instructors will maintain current certification, and credentials, such as a current teaching certificate, certification from the NACCC, AFCPE, or other approved certifications or credentials required by the Office of the U.S Trustee. 1 After Filing maintains an Accredited Financial Counselor designation through the AFCPE Association for Financial Counseling and Planning Education. Our teachers/instructors will maintain certification required by the EOUST.
Referrals:
1 After Filing, the (Provider) does not pay or receive fees or other consideration for the referral of debtor students to or by the provider.
Course Dates & Times:
The course may be viewed on-line, 24 hours a day, 7 days per week at the convenience of the debtor student.
Providing Completion Certificate:
Upon completion of the course, 1 After Filing will provide a certificate of completion to the debtor student. That any quiz, test or examination shall be utilized as a guide for the debtor student to test his/her retention of the material. That all who complete the course shall receive a completion certificate. A course evaluation for is optional.
